Annual Conference of the German-Russian Law Institute (DRJI) on 12-14 October 2017

 

 

From 12-14 October 2017 the Institute of East European Law of Kiel University will host the Annual Conference 2017 of the German-Russian Law Institute (Deutsch-Russisches Juristisches Institut, DRJI).   The conference is scheduled for Friday, 13 October 2017, under the general topic: “Current developments in procedural law in Germany and Russia”   A specific focus will be on “Current developments in international commercial arbitration in Russia and Germany”. Speakers are the President of the MKAS (International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation), Professor Alexey Kostin, and several well known academics and legal practitioners from Russia and Germany (e.g. Dr. Antonida Netzer, German Institution for Arbitration, Academic Prof. Dr. Lisitsyn-Svetlanov, Prof. Dr. Alexander Trunk, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Yarkov, Prof. Dr. Rainer Wedde, D. Marenkov and others).   Conference languages are English, Russian and German (with consecutive translations Russian — German). Conference fee € 100,– The deadline for registration for the conference is the 8 October 2017.   On Thursday, 12 October 2017, at 16.00 h the conference participants will have the occasion to visit the Regional Court of Kiel for information about the practice at the Court on courtbased mediation.   On Saturday, 14 October 2017, a visit of Eutin Palace with a guided tour to the local collections is offered, with a particular reference to the close relations between the ducal family of Oldenburg and imperial Russia.

DRJI-Jahresversammlung und DRJI-Jahrestagung
